I
am pleased to
offer private and
group lessons for students of all ages
(6 to 86, at last count!)
and levels in several locations in the region. In
addition
to
those student pursuing advanced studies, I am more
than
happy to
work with beginning students. While
all of my
students are introduced to fundamentals such as note reading
and
music theory, I also believe that every guitar student can
benefit from exploring with the wide variety of musical
styles and genres in which the guitar plays a role. Thus,
students are encouraged to explore such things as accompanying song,
flat picking, improvisation and composition along
with traditional classical guitar techniques and repertoire.
